Under the coordination of the Regional Directorate of Forestry, the “Forest is Mine” campaign will be organized simultaneously in all provinces and districts on Friday, 09.05.2025 at 14.00.

The campaign aims to reduce the negative effects of forest fires by reducing flammable materials (shrubs, sapling removal and lower branch pruning) and cleaning garbage on roadsides, agricultural lands, settlements and facilities in and adjacent to forests. With the works to be carried out, our forests, settlements and agricultural areas will be made more resistant to fires.

This campaign will be carried out in each province with the participation of governors, public institutions and organizations, students (primary, secondary and university), forest villagers, non-governmental organizations related to environment and forestry, beekeeping, animal husbandry, agricultural professional associations and citizens. The campaign aims to increase the resilience of our forests against fires, to raise awareness against behaviors that may cause fires in the society and to create sensitivity for clean forests.
